Here we are with Labor Day weekend coming already. It sure has slipped into our lives quickly. There are so many things to do this time of the year to get ready for the coming winter months. I have taken pictures of most of our blooming Flowers so I can enjoy them when the snow and cold comes along.
Austin music fans are remembering Stevie Ray Vaughan Wednesday, 18 years after his death. Known for his fiery guitar playing, Vaughan rose from the Austin club scene to international stardom.
Del Martin, who just this past June wed her partner of nearly 55 years when gay marriage was legalized in California, died Wednesday morning with her wife, Phyllis Lyon, by her side, according to the National Center for Lesbian Rights. She was 87.
